The Drift Deck private lakeside venue on Lake Travis

Milestone birthdays deserve a venue, not a restaurant tab. The Drift Deck gives you a private deck on Lake Travis, three personal watercraft at your dock, and the whole place to the birthday person's closest group. One flat price, no per-person surprises.

It's built for the birthdays where you actually want everyone together for a full day, not for two hours around a patio table. A small, tight guest list (up to 10), a setting that makes the photos worth keeping, and an experience that isn't "we went to happy hour again."

Why The Drift Deck Beats A Restaurant Or Bar

A full venue, not a table.

You get the deck, the dock, the watercraft, and the sound system. The whole place, for the whole session.

No two-hour limit.

A half-day session is four hours. A full day is nine. Celebrate at your pace, not the server's pace.

One flat price.

Restaurants surprise you with group minimums, a service charge, and a bar tab that spirals. You know what the day costs when you book.

Nobody's rushing you to the next seating.

Servers have other tables and a 10:30 cutoff. The deck has neither. A half-day runs four hours, a full day runs nine.

The memory isn't "we sat somewhere."

It's "we had the whole lake to ourselves."

Why The Drift Deck Beats A Boat Charter

Nobody has to captain.

On a charter, a stranger's driving. On a rented pontoon, someone in the group gets stuck driving and doesn't enjoy the day. Here, the host handles setup and safety, then stays out of the way, and the watercraft are driven by whoever in the group wants to drive.

A stable, shaded place to land.

Boats bob. The deck doesn't. For anyone who doesn't love being on a moving boat all day (pregnant guests, older guests, people who just hit their limit on the water) the deck is the whole point.

A full-size bathroom, real shade, real food prep.

The boat doesn't have a grill, a full-size fridge, an ice maker, or a real bathroom. The deck has all of that, and the bathroom is cleaner than most Lake Travis options.

Swim or float, whichever.

Swim ladder on the dock and a few floaties to grab. Lay out in the sun, paddle around with a drink, or jump in between rides.

Flat pricing instead of per-hour.

Charters run $200+ an hour before fuel and gratuity. You pay one rate for the whole session.

WHO THIS IS BUILT FOR

  • Surprise parties where the guest of honor shouldn't be on the hook for planning or driving.

QUICK ANSWERS

Is there an age minimum?

Yes. All guests must be 21 or older, including passengers on the watercraft. We check IDs at check-in.

Can we bring a cake and decorations?

Cake, candles, and simple decorations are welcome. Run the slideshow on the 65-inch TV. Skip anything that needs to be taped, stapled, or hung up. It gets windy at the lake and loose decorations end up in the water.

Do we need to bring anything?

Just food and drinks. Everything else (the watercraft, towels, life vests, sunglasses, the grill) is already on site.

A birthday that isn't another patio brunch. A private venue on Lake Travis, one flat price, and a group small enough that every guest gets a full day on the water.
