• Food and drinks for the grill and fridge (BYOB-friendly)
• Sunscreen (we have some on hand, but we recommend bringing your own)
• Shoes or sandals with grip (the hill down to the dock is steep)
• Solo cups, paper plates, and plastic silverware (we've got you covered on the basics)

Park in the gravel lot if space allows. We strongly recommend carpooling on weekends. Parking is limited.

Your host will meet you there, check IDs, and walk everyone down to the dock together. The marina is gated, so try to arrive on time. If you're running late, just text your host and they'll come grab you when you arrive.

• Your host walks the group down to the dock and shows you around
• Waivers signed (required for both drivers and passengers)
• Safety video and briefing, followed by a short demonstration on the water
• Walkthrough of the watercraft, deck, grill, and everything else
• Walkie talkies handed out so your group and your host stay connected
• Your host helps you launch, then stays out of the way. The deck is yours.

The longer story, if you want it:

Forget the forecast. Austin stations call for storms four times a week and it's slightly cloudy three of them. It's Texas. The forecast is wrong out of professional courtesy. We're at the lake every day, so we'll know what's actually going on. If something's going to wreck your day, we'll text you and offer a refund before you have to ask.

Honestly, some of our best afternoons have been guests grilling, drinks in hand, music up, watching a storm roll in from the deck. So if you'd rather come anyway, the deck is yours.

The kids running the marina gas pumps will also take any excuse to clock out early. If they bail and we can't fuel up, same deal.

Texas weather flips fast and the lake usually plays through, which is why cloudy skies, intermittent light rain, and scattered showers don't qualify.

When you book, we line up a host for your session. They may turn down other work to be there for you, so our cancellation tiers reflect that real commitment.
