A few things to know before your day on the water.
18 or older to be on the premises. 21 or older to ride or drive a jet ski. The 21+ rule for riders and drivers is an insurance requirement, no exceptions.
Texas law requires drivers born after Sept 1, 1993 to hold a state-approved boater safety cert. Passengers are exempt. See below for the easy online options.
Riders and drivers will be carded at check-in to verify the 21+ rule above. Bring a government-issued photo ID.
Maximum 10 guests per session.
Anyone operating a jet ski must be sober. TX treats Boating Under the Influence the same as DUI: same blood alcohol limits, same penalties. Your host has full authority to pull anyone off a watercraft mid-session if they're impaired or operating dangerously. The remaining sober riders in your group can keep going.
We host out of a working marina. No-wake speed at the dock, volume kept reasonable, and a host with authority to end a session for unsafe or disruptive behavior. Full policy on our Dock & Lake Etiquette page.
Required for drivers born after Sept 1, 1993
Texas law requires anyone born after Sept 1, 1993 to complete a boater safety course before operating a jet ski. Riding as a passenger is fine without it. Operators are responsible for holding their certification. It's a Texas state requirement.
Every guest (drivers and passengers) must sign a liability waiver before stepping on a jet ski.
